Carl Ikeme, Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, believes the team’s 2018 World Cup qualifying match against
Cameroon on August 28, 2017 in Uyo will be tough.

Ikeme, who missed Nigeria’s 2-0 loss to South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on June 10 in
Uyo due to injury, said in an interview with theNFF.com that they were confident of overcoming Cameroon’s challenge.
The player, who is set to return against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, said that the team must prepare for the game on the premise that they won’t be an easy opponent.
“Yes, they are a top side you know. It’s not going to be easy. They have played a lot together recently. They were in the Confederations Cup but we are confident going into the game. Like I said, it’s not going to be easy,” he said.
